Holly Takes A Rest During A Hard Day Of Patrolling The Parade

As we get closer to June it’s time to start thinking about the Rose Festival and the Grand Floral Parade.

Last year Holly the dog and I volunteered to be bike mounted volunteers to help patrol in front of the parade and ask people to keep behind the line.

Holly took her job very seriously by allowing herself to be petted by tons of young parade watchers.  She was so tired by the end of the day she had to lay down in our cargo bike!
