City Guide

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Portland is bicycle nirvana.

The city itself is beautiful, and the ever-expanding bike infrastructure makes for safe and pleasant riding. And it is a city full of bicyclists: 40% of residents bike recreationally and nearly 10% commute to work daily on bike. No wonder Bicycling magazine regularly names it one of the top cities to bike in America! They also named our Brewery Tour one of “The 10 Best Guided Bike Tours in The US,” an honor we work hard to maintain. So let’s get riding!

Below is a city map with a list of our guides’ favorite food, drink and rest stops in each of Portland’s distinct neighborhoods. But first, if you’re still trying to decide where to rest your head, you can start here.

Accommodations

Travelers’ House: A hip, social hostel in NE that offers both private & dorm-style rooms in a shared house. Walking distance to Mississippi and Alberta neighborhoods.

Ace Hotel: A small, trend-setting hotel in a historic building downtown. Walking distance to Powell’s Books, the Pearl District, food carts and tons of retail.

Embassy Suites: Historic building one block away from us in Old Town. Great for families, as every room is a suite and there’s an indoor pool.
