Supporting Local Crafts

OUR SHOP

Located in the historic Haseltine Building in downtown Portland, Pedal Bike Tours prides itself on offering a wide selection of practical, stylish and interesting bike crafts. Our shop is open year round with gifts and crafts for all seasons.

To support Portland's economy and green living, we emphasize goods made locally from recycled materials.

The items below are a sample of some of our most popular products.

CLOTHING FOR CYCLISTS

We created these American Apparel made bikey t-shirts for ourselves, and they've struck a note with a lot of cyclists. The back side has printed "Portland - America's Bicycling Capital" and "pedalbiketours.com."  The right sleeve has the Pedal Bike Tours logo.  We stock sizes SM to XXL, ladies sizes SM to XL, youth sizes 2 to 12, all in grass green and pink.
Pedal Bike Tours feels that no child should be left behind, so we've created some Pedal onesies for the tiny people out there.
PBT hoodie
More of our very own Pedal Bike Tours hoodies. These warm hoodies are great for riding around town and representing your love of the two wheels.  American Apparel quality.  Available in a kelly green pullover and pink full-zip in all sizes.

Local 922 - "Bike Portland - Road Bike" T-shirt.

Local 922 produces handmade T-shirts printed in Portland, OR. Subjects include promoting general bikey-ness as well as showcasing the city of Portland, the State of Oregon, and everything that's great about both.

Local 922 - "Bike Oregon" T-shirt.

Another favorite from Local 922.

Double Darn Clothing - This company specializes in stylish hats and other handmade cycling clothes. High quality apparel made right here in Southeast Portland.

Heart In Oregon - "Heart Oregon" Jersey.

Show everyone how you feel in this comfortable, colorful cycling jersey.

BAGS

Black Star Bags from Pedal Bike Tours Black Star Bags - Created by former bike messenger Dave Stoops, these are hand made in Portland.  Quality waterproof cordura is sewn to a separate waterproof liner to assure none of our abundant Portland rain gets to your goods.

Queen Bee - We carry this homegrown Portland success story's most popular products including panniers, truckette bags, coin purses, hip holsters and wallets.  Rebecca Pearcy founded Queen Bee back in 1996 from a corner in her bedroom.

Alchemy Goods - "Turning useless into useful" is the motto of this Seattle company and it is very useful indeed!  We love their bags made out of "upcycled" bike tubes as well as their wallets and belts.
PoCampo - Two women cyclists and designers from Chicago grew tired of lugging heavy courier bags and drab carriers around by bike. Their solutiuon? A line of fashionable and feminine bike friendly bags for all occasions.

BIKE THEMED JEWELRY

Velo Gioielli - Bicycle themed jewelry from recycled parts.

Cyclist Brian Echerer creates traditional jewelry with a unique twist: all pieces are made from used bicycle chains and bicycle spokes. The stylish Velo Gioielli jewelry is perfect for cycling enthusiasts or anyone that loves fine jewelry.

FUN STUFF

"Pedal's Picks" - Our guides are full of great ideas for where to go and what to do here in Portland. In fact we found ourselves mentioning many of the same activities over and over again. Finally we decided to write them all down, organize them by neighborhood and put them on our very own bike map. Ride where the locals do with a Pedal's Picks in hand.

Aaron Trotter - "PDX Playing Cards"

This artist contributes to a growing local movement towards beautifully made household objects that are usefull as well as pleasing to the eye. His drawings celebrate history in an old-fashioned way that is influenced by the Renaissance etchings of Albrecht Durer and Andreas Mantegna. Each sketch is drawn on location.

The Columbia River Gorge’s most beloved hiking and exploring guidebook. It’s a fun book that reads as if the author’s in the car with you explaining and directing you to all the amazing things to see and do. Over 24,000 sold since 2002! Pedal encourages you to try this book or maybe even Scott's more recent "Pokin' Round the Gorge"...if you dare.
Cycle Dog - In their own words: "Our goal at Cycle Dog is to create the world's best dog products with a focus on the environment and to raise awareness of the millions of bike tubes thrown into landfills every year. Cycle Dog products are proudly made and tested in Portland, Oregon."
jDuct - Colorful, useful, and fun, jDuct products are the creations of local artist Jen Woffinden. She offers wallets and flasks with all sorts of fun designs from a beer drinking squirrel to the nostalgic Atari joystick - all made from Duct Tape.
Ahearne Flask Holder - If you pick up a jDuct flask, you'll need a way to carry it. Safely and securely carry your favorite beverage with the Ahearne Spaceman Flask Holder. Mounts as a standard water-bottle cage on your bicycle...for that "other" type of energy drink.
